Coventry Editorial 4th Apr, 2024   0

A NUNEATON man has been arrested after a van crashed into three houses in Pallett Drive yesterday (April, 3).

Warwickshire Police received reports of the collision but the driver had already left the scene.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after being followed to a nearby pub by a member of public.

The crash caused damage to the front of the houses and an ambulance was called but there were no injuries.

One boy had to escape one of the houses through a window – a structural engineer was called and confirmed the houses were safe.

Officers are still investigating the incident and are calling for any witnesses or footage of the van prior to the crash to call 101.
