A MAN has been charged after several Coventry street robberies.
Eugene Langa, from Coventry, was arrested shortly after a mobile phone was taken from a teenage boy in Wyken last Friday, April 19.
He was taken into custody and following further enquiries police identified him as a prime suspect for three other robberies where phones, cash and clothing were stolen.
The 18-year-old was charged with four counts of robbery – another in Wyken on April 17 and two others in the city centre on February 17.
Langa has been remanded to appear before Warwick Crown Court on May 23.
