COVENTRY City will display their new ‘We’ll Live and Die In These Towns’ flag at home for the first time ahead of their game against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
The Sky Blues displayed the flag for the first time at Wembley before City played Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals.
And City will now display the flag at the Coventry Building Society Arena for the first time this weekend.
Coventry host QPR on the final day of the Championship season on Saturday, May 4 with kick-off at 12.30pm.
Coventry will display the flag amongst the crowd as the players emerge from the tunnel.
The flag, commissioned by the club with Sky Blues supporting artist ‘Covcept’, depicts a line-up of City fans and also Coventry legends.
It will raise from from the bottom of the East Stand’s central blocks and stay in position in this area and will not move around the ground.
It will also return to the bottom of the East Stand ahead of the 12:30pm kick-off to ensure Sky Blues fans can watch the game without an obstructed view.
The club has asked supporters to follow the instructions of the stewards deploying the flag to ensure it is done in a safe manner.
Coventry’s clash with QPR takes place on Saturday, May 4 with kick-off at 12.30pm at the CBS Arena.
