A COVENTRY man has been charged with assaulting a taxi driver in the city.
Artur Nowostawski, 40-year-old was charged with wounding, attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon, after an attack on the driver on April, 29.
He is due before magistrates court in Coventry this morning, (Thursday).
Nowostawski is accused of a violent assault on a taxi driver and has been remanded in custody since his arrest on May, 6.
