COVENTRY Blaze have announced the return of British forward Jack Hopkins for the 2024/25 Elite League season.
The 20-year-old joined Blaze last season from rivals Nottingham Panthers and made 55 appearances in Elite League competitions with two goals and an assist.
Blaze head coach, Kevin Moore, said: “Jack is someone who is ready to take the next step in his Elite League career.
“His mix of competitive drive and ability will add value to our offense, and overall team skill.”
Prior to his move to Blaze, the Nottingham-born shooter spent two seasons on two-way deals with his hometown club, Telford Tigers and Milton Keynes Lightning of the NIHL.
With the Panthers, Hopkins iced 62 times in Elite League competitions with eight points (three goals, five assists).
He was a point per-game producer in the NIHL, with 56 points (22 goals, 44 assists) in 58 games and won the NIHL championship with Telford Tigers in 2021/22.
Hopkins has represented Great Britain at under-18 and under-20 level and as an offensive leader has won a silver and two bronze medals at the World Junior Championships (Division 2A).
