A CANLEY opticians is holding a fundraiser event tomorrow in aid of Hope Community Projects.
Specsavers in Sainsbury’s will donate all money raised to the charity, offering support to the local community through foodbanks, breakfast clubs, and helping people get back into employment.
Visitors can take part in a variety of activities including face painting and glitter tattoos.
The team will be running a raffle with prizes to be won including a £100 voucher to spend in-store.
Harpreet Bhara, store director said: “It’s extremely important to us to show our support for the local community.
“We know times are tough at the moment, so we would be really grateful to anyone who is able to get involved and help us raise as much as possible.
“We’d also like to say a big thank you to all the local businesses that have donated prizes so far. It’s great to have their support and it means a lot that they’re involved in our fundraising efforts.”
The store will have children’s appointments available throughout the day for a free eye test before the start of the final school half term.
