YOUNG goalkeeper Luke Bell has signed a new one-year deal to remain with Coventry City until the summer of 2025.
The 20-year-old captained the club’s under-21 side on several occasions last season.
He trained with first team goalkeepers Brad Collins and Ben Wilson every week last term and featured on the bench against Maidstone United, Blackburn Rovers and Ipswich Town.
Bell said: “It was a very easy decision. This club has been fantastic for me for the past four years, and it was just a no brainer, really.
“I’ve been developing loads with getting experience more this season and training with the first team off Ben, Si and Brad and my development is going very well.
“I’m hoping to go out on loan. But, at this moment, I’m ready for the preseason and excited to get back.
“Playing against men would be very good, very challenging because they’re more physical.
“I’ve been training loads, to be fair, and just, give myself the best opportunity when I get back.”
