Lord Mayor of Coventry visited Amazon

THE Amazon receive centre in Coventry recently played host to some distinguished guests.

The Lord Mayor of Coventry, coun Jaswant Singh Birdi, and his wife, Lady Mayoress Krishna, visited the facility for an insightful tour led by general manager Gareth Davies.

During their visit, the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the operations of the centre, which has been a significant part of Coventry’s business community since its opening in 2018.

The tour highlighted Amazon’s the team’s dedication to efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Lord Mayor said: “Amazon has been a brilliant addition to the business landscape in Coventry since it opened its doors in 2018.

“My wife and I really enjoyed visiting the centre to meet the team and see the great work that’s being done here.”




 

Amazon Coventry site leader, Gareth Davies, added: “We had a great day welcoming such special guests for a tour of the receive centre.


“We’ve also been delighted to support the Lord mayor’s charities – Coventry Resource Centre for the Blind, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Charity and the Muscular Dystrophy charity.”
