The deal is in place for the 2024/25 season.

Coventry owner and executive chairman, Doug King, said: “Monzo is a fantastic partner for Coventry City and we hope that this will be the start of a successful and long-term relationship with them.

“As Coventry City FC looks to the future, engaging with a new set of customers and fans to rebuild our football club to be a powerful force amongst our community and within our country, Monzo likewise is a company that is dynamic, disruptive and forward thinking in their industry.

“We are extremely excited about this partnership and how it will unfold. We thank Monzo for their support and commitment in this new adventure.”

Monzo’s vice president of marketing, AJ Coyne, added: “We’re excited to partner with Coventry City, a historic and storied club that has inspired fans up and down the country with their runs to the play-offs and the FA Cup semi-finals.

“We both value a special connection with our communities and share a challenger mindset, so this was a match made in heaven.”
