COVENTRY Building Society Arena will host TV and West End star Sarah Jayne with an event of country music.
Sarah will perform some of Dolly Parton’s many classic hits next year on May, 17.
The show will also feature hits by other country legends such as Kenny Rogers – as performed by award-winning impersonator Andy Crust – as well as vocal and visual tributes to Patsy Cline, John Denver, Glen Campbell, Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette, Garth Brooks and Shania Twain backed by The Country Superstars Band.
Appearing on BBC’s The One Show, Dolly Parton said: “I wish them the best and I appreciate them doing Dolly and Kenny so well for so long,”
Kenny added: “They are Europe’s leading Dolly and Kenny impersonators.”
Songs will include 9 to 5, The Gambler, Islands in the Stream, Annie’s Song, Stand by Your Man, Ring of Fire, Crazy, Always on my Mind, Blanket on the Ground, and Jolene.
Jenni Ford, director of sales and marketing at Coventry Building Society Arena, said: “We are delighted to be in a position to announce this show. It really is a must-see for country music buffs.
“For Dolly and Kenny to sing the praises of Sarah and Andy shows just how talented they are as impersonators and how life-like their performances are.
“We can’t wait for the show to come around and are confident country music fans of all ages will be in their absolute element.”
