COVENTRY City have confirmed the departure of attacking midfielder Kasey Palmer to Championship rivals Hull City.
Palmer completed a deadline day move to the Tigers for an undisclosed fee with Coventry opting not to sign a replacement before the transfer window shut.
The 27-year-old scored nine goals in 75 appearances for the club following his move from Bristol City in June 2022.
He netted his last Sky Blues goal in a 1-1 draw against the Robins last weekend and has featured in all five of City’s matches in league and cup so far this season.
The club have also allowed youngster Justin Obikwu to re-join League Two side Grimsby Town on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old scored three goals in 16 appearances while on loan with The Mariners last season and has now returned to Blundell Park for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
