MILAN van Ewijk is confident Coventry City will bounce back from their narrow home defeat against Norwich City.
City slipped to a 1-0 defeat at the Coventry Building Society Arena and have won just one of their opening four league matches.
The Dutch wing-back insists the Sky Blues must keep their heads up and hopes to learn following the defeat during the international break.
van Ewijk said: “I believe in our ability to bounce back, and I think we have shown it last couple seasons and already this season. We are able to bounce back, and I know we will be alright.
“I will go back home, see my family and friends, keep trying to improve, analyse the games and hopefully in the small week learn a couple of things.
“We started off well with the games we have played, and we showed a good comeback after Stoke City against Oxford and Bristol.
“A game like Norwich just should not happen because we were feeling good.
“Once we got on the pitch, it just was not us, and we have spoken about it in the dressing room, so we know what we need to change.
“We need to keep our heads up; it is early in the season.”
Coventry are next in action away at Watford on Saturday, September 14 with kick-off at 3pm at Vicarage Road.
