A COVENTRY based business is a finalist in the UK Social Enterprise Awards after being recognised as one of the county’s most impactful businesses.
Hope 4 The Community CIC was set up to empower people who live with long term conditions and carers, to take control if their health and wellbeing through programmes and courses.
The awards recognise sector-leading excellence across a range of criteria and H4C has been shortlisted in the Tech for Good: Technology Social Enterprise of the Year category.
Gabriela Matouskova, CEO of Hope 4 The Community CIC, said: “We are honoured to be recognised in the UK Social Enterprise Awards for a second year running.
“We introduced online delivery during the pandemic and since then over 13,000 people have benefitted from our online Hope Programme courses.
“This nomination encourages us to continue our mission to improve health outcomes for those with long-term conditions and carers.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved and inspired by the incredible work of other social enterprise finalists.
“We hope this recognition will also bring attention to the need for more investment in community-led health approaches and sustainable technology.”
Winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on December 4.
