COVENTRY City are introducing digital tickets for home matches at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Sky Blues supporters are now able to use match tickets directly from their phone with tickets held in either an Apple Wallet or Google Play Wallet.
City hope the new system will provide greater convenience for fans and make entry into the Arena easier while also reducing the need for supporters to visit the ticket office.
The digital delivery ticket option is available for the first time when Coventry host Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday, October 1.
A full roll out will then take place for the game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, October 5.
Fans can still print their ticket at home and then scan the QR code at the Arena’s turnstiles if they which to or have the option of a paper ticket delivered to their door.
Any iPhone 6 or above, and most recent Android mobile phone devices are compatible with digital ticketing.
Digital delivery for hospitality ticket purchases will be for the print-at-home option – these supporters will not be able to download their purchase to their phone.
