THIS SATURDAY, Five Acre Community Farm are hosting apple pressing between 10am and 1pm.
The farm are asking people to bring any apples that need pressing down to the farm.
On October 19 there is also beetroot harvesting and on December 21 the farm will have a solstice celebration.
Now in harvesting season, the farm harvest squash on Wednesday’s and now also have potatoes, beetroot and celeriac into storage for the winter.
Five Acre’s hold work mornings on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 10am till 1pm.
