DRIVERS are being warned to avoid a road in Coventry which has had to be shut because of a sinkhole.
Humber Avenue was shut by Coventry City Council highways, following the discovery.
The council said it was ‘awaiting resources’ to repair the road as soon as was feasibly possible.
In the meantime, motorists were asked not to move cones or barriers so they could drive down the road.
A Coventry Highways spokesperson thanked residents for their patience and advised drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
