JOEL Latibeaudiere wants to give the Coventry City fans ‘something to cheer about’ ahead of the Sky Blues trip to Queens Park Rangers tonight.
Latibeaudiere played the full 90 minutes as City suffered a frustrating 1-0 defeat against Preston North End at Deepdale last weekend.
And the Jamaica international echoed the thoughts of manager Mark Robins, insisting the Sky Blues will start picking up points following a difficult start to the season.
Latibeaudiere said: “Every game is a big game right now. The main thing we want to do is give these fans something to cheer about.
“We know they’ll turn up again in London on a Tuesday night and we know they’ll come in numbers, and we really want to make them proud.
“There’s nothing worse than feeling like we’ve let them down so we want to give them something to cheer about.
“We always bring a massive crowd with us, and we know how important these fixtures are for the fans. We’ve got that amount of people travelling away from their homes to watch us and when we get beat it kills us, you know?
“I want them to know how much it does mean to us when they when they turn up in numbers. It’s massive and we will start getting points and we will start making their weeks better.”
Coventry travel to QPR on Tuesday, October 22 with kick-off at 8pm at Loftus Road.
