COVENTRY City have extended the club’s shuttle bus service trial to the Coventry Building Society Arena on matchdays until the end of the year.
The club will continue to provide the service free of charge from Coventry City centre. Supporters must show their match ticket or season ticket to use the service.
The service collects fans ahead of matches from rail replacement bus stops at Coventry Train Station (near Central Six, opposite Burger King).
And the service also picks up supporters at White Street Coach Park before dropping fans off at the Bus Station at Arena Park Shopping Centre.
Post-match, buses will wait at the Bus Station at Arena Park and follow the reverse route.
Coventry’s chief operating office, John Taylor, said: “The reception for the new shuttle bus service has been very positive, and we thank fans who have used it so far.
“We will be extended the service until the New Year, providing our supporters with an great option to travel to and from the Coventry Building Society Arena on matchdays.
“We will also be continuing, during the trial period, to provide this service free of charge – fans simply need to show their match ticket or Season Ticket to make use of the shuttle buses.
“We hope that the service continues to be popular during this trial, which will help support us in planning future shuttle bus options for supporters.”
The club plan to introduce a longer term service for supporters subject to demand.
Coventry will confirm pick-up times from Coventry Train Station inbound to the Arena and post-match from Arena Park on a game-by-game basis via the club website and social media ahead of each matchday.
The club will continue to monitor feedback and comments regarding the service and pick-up locations.
