A NUNEATON boy has been charged with robbery and theft of a bicycle, theft from a shop, and two counts of possession of a blade in public.
The 17-year-old boy is due to appear in Coventry Magistrates Court today for his first hearing.
This follows a series of events alleged to have taken place on Croft Road in Nuneaton from August 14 to November 17:
On August 14 at 7:15pm, a male entered a shop and took a bottle of whisky without paying for it.
On October 31 at 3:15pm, a bicycle was stolen from a locked courtyard by a young male.
On November 16 at just before 10pm, a male entered a shop and picked up a bottle of whisky. When confronted by a shop worker, the male threatened them with a blade.
On Queens Road in Nuneaton on November 17 at just past midnight, a male was identified on Queens Road as a suspect in the robbery of 16 November and stopped by police.
During a search, a blade was discovered, and the male was arrested.
