COVENTRY City youngster Kai Andrews has joined Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old midfielder has made two senior appearances for the Sky Blues and is embarking on his first loan move away from the club.
Andrews joins the Fir Park club ahead of Motherwell’s trip to Kilmarnock tonight (Wednesday, January 8, kick-off 7.45pm).
Andrews told Motherwell’s website: “We have been exploring the idea of me going out on loan to get first-team minutes and be in that environment.
“I wanted a place where I felt I could perform at my best and this feels like the right place.
“The boys have been great so far at helping me settle in. I can’t wait to get started.”
Motherwell are managed by Stuart Kettlewell and currently sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership table.
