COVENTRY City have seen a loan deal to sign Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo break down after talks between the two clubs.
According to Sky Sports, the clubs were not able to agree on the bonuses involved in the deal.
Sky broke the news of Matondo’s potential arrival at the Coventry Building Society Arena yesterday.
Matondo was set to join on loan with an option to buy included in the deal.
However, the move has now broken down with the Wales international to remain at Rangers for the time being.
City are yet to make a signing in the January transfer window.
However, the club have extended the contract of defender Jake Bidwell.
Earlier in the window, Ryan Howley returned to the club following a loan spell at Ayr United.
And the club also recalled Jack Burroughs from his loan spell at Kilmarnock.
