COVENTRY City fans can now take a walk down memory lane following the launch of a new website – the Sky Blue Archive.

The dedicated independent website allows supporters both young and old to access in-depth details of every match in the club’s history.

This includes results, match stats, complete line-ups, highlights, matchday programmes and detailed reports.

Coventry’s head of marketing and communications, Mark Hornby said: “The Sky Blue Archive is fantastic new website and resource, and the team of fans who have dedicated so much time and energy to creating this amazing archive should be very proud and congratulated.

“It is great to have a one-stop resource to look back at the club’s history, memorable games and players, and I’m sure that all supporters will hugely appreciate and enjoy the new website.”

The Archive provides substantial player, director and staff profiles along with details of every minute played, goals, assists and individual player appearances during their time with the Sky Blues.

Sky Blue Archive hope to provide a complete historical information resource about the club, capturing every chapter of the club’s history in the process.

The independent website is the brainchild of long-term historians and Sky Blue diehards Jim Brown and Lionel Bird along with architect Ian Tennison and fanatical supporter and local businessman Pete Witherow.

Sky Blue Archive hope to add more features and new content regularly as City continue to create more history.
