COVENTRY City have confirmed the departure of first team coach Rhys Carr by mutual consent.
Carr only joined the Sky Blues in June 2024 and became interim head coach following the sacking of former City boss Mark Robins in November.
The 38-year-old led Coventry to two draws and a defeat in his three matches in charge.
He oversaw successive 2-2 draws against promotion hopefuls Sunderland and Sheffield United before suffering defeat at Burnley.
Following Frank Lampard’s appointment as Sky Blues head coach, Carr returned to his post as first team coach.
However, Carr has now departed the Sky Blues as Lampard continues to shape his coaching staff.
