A CHEERLEADING club from Coventry won gold and double bronze competing at the USASF Cheerleading World Championships and The Summit.
Coventry Dynamite won three medals across the two prestigious international events held in Florida in the United States of America.
The Coventry club sent five teams to the two competitions – Nitro, Lady Grenades, Bombsquad, Cov Coed and Fiya 5.
Coventry’s Nitro team won gold in their division at The Summit in the international open level four competition.
Nitro came out on top ahead of teams from Germany, Australia and Canada.
And the cheerleaders also won double bronze at the World Championships.
Lady Grenades earned bronze in the under-18 level five division.
The team finished behind Pink Panthers (Australia) and Destiny (Canada).
And Fiya 5 also won bronze in the international open level five division.
Fiya 5 finished ahead of a number of other international teams including the Barcelona Bears.
A Coventry Dynamite spokesperson said: “These incredible results are the product of relentless training, incredible teamwork, and a deep passion for the sport.
“We are so proud of our athletes and coaches for making history on the world stage.”
