COVENTRY Sphinx have discovered which league they will play in next season after the FA released the National League System (NLS) club allocations for steps two to six.
Sphinx will play in the Northern Premier League Midlands in 2025/26 for the third successive season.
Coventry finished 17th in the NPL Midlands last term some 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
And Sphinx can look forward to derby matches against the likes of Bedworth United, Racing Club Warwick and newly-promoted Rugby Borough.
A total of four teams achieved promotion into the division – Bourne Town, Lichfield City, Rugby and St Neots Town.
And two teams have dropped into the division from the step above – Basford United and Mickleover.
Another couple of sides have moved across Step Four laterally in Belper Town and Carlton Town.
The other teams Sphinx will come up against next season are: AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Anstey Nomads, Boldmere St Michaels, Coleshill Town, Corby Town, Hinckley LR, Long Eaton United, Loughborough Students, Shepshed Dynamo, Sutton Coldfield Town and Wellingborough Town.
The league comprises 22 teams.
All leagues are subject to FA Council ratification.
