FOOTBALL - Coventry City reveal retained and released list following end of 2024/25 season

COVENTRY City have revealed the club’s retained and released list of players following the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

The club have confirmed eight players will depart the Sky Blues at the end of the campaign.

And Coventry have exercised the options in the contracts of Jamie Allen and Luke Bell to keep the two players at the club.

City have already confirmed Jamie Paterson’s departure at the end of his short-term deal.

The 33-year-old has already agreed a deal to join League One side Plymouth Argyle at the end of his contract.

The other released players are: Jack Burroughs, Ryan Howley, Cian Tyler, Aston Ellard, Daniel Rachel, Kain Ryan and Jayden Smith.




Youngsters Kai Andrews, Aidan Dausch, Riccardo Di Trolio and also Justin Obikwu have all returned from their respective loan spells.

Coventry have also offered professional contracts to six under-18s players with further details to be confirmed in the coming weeks.


The following players remain under contract with the club: Jamie Allen, Kai Andrews, Tristen Batanwi, Norman Bassette, Luke Bell, Elliot Betjemann, Jake Bidwell, Luis Binks, Raphael Borges Rodrigues, Harvey Broad, Bradley Collins, Jay Dasilva, Aidan Dausch, Riccardo Di Trolio, Oliver Dovin, Josh Eccles, Charlie Finney, Matt Grimes, Liam Kitching, Joel Latibeaudiere, Ephron Mason-Clark, Isaac Moore, Justin Obikwu, Callum Perry, Jack Rudoni, Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Greg Sandiford Jr, Ellis Simms, Ben Sheaf, Rylie Siddall, Bobby Thomas, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Victor Torp, Milan van Ewijk, Ben Wilson, Haji Wright, Kai Yearn.
