COVENTRY City are set to make their first signing of the summer transfer window.
The Sky Blues are close to signing Granada full-back Miguel Angel Brau, according to Sky Sports.
The Observer has previously reported Coventry’s interest in the Spaniard who operates at left-back.
Brau is set to join the Sky Blues on a free transfer when his contract at Granada expires at the end of June.
The 23-year-old scored two goals in 27 appearances for the La Liga 2 club last season.
He spent four years in Granada’s B team and spent time on loan at Talavera.
The full-back suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in May 2023 which kept him sidelined until March 2024.
However, he progressed to Granada’s first team and made his La Liga debut as a substitute in a 7-0 defeat against Girona in the 2023/24 season.
He established himself in Granada’s starting line-up last season.
And he now looks set to become Coventry’s first signing of the summer.
