CAGE are bringing a brand-new combat sport to Coventry next month.
XMMA will feature under the Cage banner in Coventry for the first time on Saturday, July 19.
An eight-man middleweight tournament will take place with £5,000 in prize money on the line.
XMMA involves no BJJ, stalling or cuddling on the mat unlike other mixed martial arts.
Submission attempts, long-control wrestling, pulling guard and holding without striking are all not allowed.
Punches, kicks, knees, clinch with active strikes, sweeps and takedowns followed by ground and pound are all permitted.
The event takes place at Ramsays Strike Academy in Nuneaton.
