A MAN has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of Reanne Coulson.
A 53-year-old man who is known to Reanne has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and murder. He remains in police custody.
Reanne was last seen on May 21 in Coventry. The 34-year-old was seen on CCTV at St Mary and Benedict Church in Raglan Street at around 9.45pm.
Reanne’s birthday was on 17 June but she failed to make contact with family, which is very out of character.
Police are following several lines of enquiry, including speaking to people who know Reanne and checking CCTV footage.
Reanne is known to have previously travelled around Coventry, Atherstone and Leamington Spa in Warwickshire.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We are asking people not to speculate on the investigation. Although we have made an arrest, we are still looking for Reanne.”
Det Insp Nigel Box from West Midlands Police CID added: “We are urging anyone who might have seen Reanne since May 21 to get in touch.
“Reanne’s family are being supported by specialist officers and continue to be updated on the investigation.
“We have set up a specialist website for anyone with information to submit. If you have any information, even if you feel it is insignificant, please get in touch. It could make a difference.”
