COVENTRY City will start the 2025/26 Championship season with a home game against Hull City after the EFL revealed the fixtures for the upcoming campaign.
The Sky Blues host the Tigers on the opening day of the season at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday, August 9 (12.30pm kick-off).
City will then travel to Derby County (August 16) before closing out the first month of the season at home to Queens Park Rangers (August 23) and away at Oxford United (August 30).
A tricky September awaits the Sky Blues with City to host Norwich City (September 13) before Coventry make the trip to rivals Leicester City in the M69 derby (September 20).
Coventry then host former landlords and newly-promoted Birmingham City (September 27).
City travel to Hollywood-owned Wrexham (November 1) before hosting last year’s beaten play-off finalists Sheffield United (November 4) just three days later.
And a reunion with former boss Mark Robins follows with the Sky Blues away at Stoke City (November 8).
Coventry face a trip to relegated Southampton (December 20) in their last game before Christmas.
The Sky Blues will then host Swansea City on Boxing Day (December 26) before closing out the year with another home game against Ipswich Town (December 29).
Frank Lampard’s side begin the New Year away at newly-promoted Charlton Athletic (January 1) with their first home game of 2026 against Leicester (January 17).
The traditional Easter fixtures sees City host Derby on Good Friday (April 3) before making the trip to opening day opponents Hull on Easter Monday (April 6).
Coventry’s final home game of the season is against Wrexham (April 25) with City to end the campaign away at Watford (May 2).
