COVENTRY City have named Jack Rudoni as the club’s player of the season after the Sky Blues cancelled their end-of-season awards ceremony.
Rudoni enjoyed an impressive debut season at the Coventry Building Society Arena in 2024/25.
The midfielder flourished following the arrival of Frank Lampard as head coach as he scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists in 45 appearances.
Coventry initially postponed the awards in May but have decided against rescheduling the event with the club now focusing on the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
Coventry owner and executive chairman, Doug King said: “With all of our attentions now on the 2025/26 season and ensuring thorough preparation for the new campaign, we have decided not to hold our rescheduled end-of-season event.
“Jack Rudoni won the majority of the awards voted for by official supporter clubs, and giving him the player of the year recognises the brilliant season he had and also the relationship we have with supporters clubs, the majority of whom selected Jack as their player of the year.
“All eyes are now rightly on 2025/26. We are all looking forward to the new season, the hard work for which is well underway and steps up another gear with pre-season training commencing.”
Coventry intend to hold an end-of-season event at the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.
