FOOTBALL - Coventry City under-21s move top of table with victory against Bristol City

COVENTRY City under-21s continued their winning start to the season with a 2-0 victory against Bristol City.

Early goals from Tristen Batanwi and Rylie Siddall secured the points for the young Sky Blues at the Alan Higgs Centre.

The victory means City have started their Professional Development League campaign with successive wins.

Coventry’s youngsters began the season with a thrilling 4-3 victory away at Queens Park Rangers.

City’s under-21s sit top of the Professional Development League North standings.

Coventry under-21s are next in action against Colchester United on Tuesday, August 26 with kick-off at 1pm at Florence Park.
