ROOMS for homeless people are now available at a Coventry charity.
Emmaus Coventry and Warwickshire can now accommodate up to 17 adults in single furnished bedrooms in a ‘safe and supportive environment’ at its community home in Brinklow Road, Binley.
Residents have access to communal living spaces, a garden, meals, basic clothing, toiletries, and an allowance.
An on-site team provides tailored support and helps with access to training, and residents help to run its social enterprises, gaining valuable work experience.
The charity’s Support Manager Tony Bivens said: “We offer more than just a place to stay – we provide a safe, stable home where people can start to rebuild their lives.
“Some people stay for a short while and others need a bit longer until they are ready to get back on their feet.
“We support people to move on when they feel ready to do so. It’s about giving people the respect and chances they deserve to move forward.
“If you know someone who might benefit from this support, please encourage them to get in touch with us.”
The charity is accepting applications from adults aged 18 and over who are rough sleeping, vulnerably housed, or at risk of homelessness.
