AN ASSAULT at a Coventry pub has left a man with serious injuries to his head and neck.
Police were called to Robin Hood Road at around 7.20pm on Saturday (August 23) after the injured man was found.
It is believed he had been involved in an argument with the assailant.
The injured man was taken to hospital. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
A Coventry Police spokesperson said: “We believe this was an isolated, but targeted attack in which the two parties involved knew each other.
“If anyone was in the area, or knows anything about the events leading up to the assault, contact us via 101 quoting log 4204 of August 23.”
