A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following an attack in Coventry last weekend.
Marlon Martin, 34, has been charged after an incident in Robin Hood Road on Saturday night (August 23).
Martin was charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article and was remanded to appear before magistrates in Coventry today.
Police were called to Robin Hood Road at around 7.20pm on Saturday after reports of a man in his 60s being attacked.
The man was found with serious injuries to his head and neck, which were later confirmed not to be life-threatening.
Police are still investigating the attack and the events leading up to it, and are asking anyone who saw what happened to come forward. Call police on 101 quoting log number 4204 of August 23.
