A WANTED man who tried to flee from police in Coventry was stopped in his tracks by a trusty police dog.
PD Zade sprang into action after the 39-year-old, who was wanted on recall to prison, was spotted by officers in Berry Street on Friday September 5.
The man attempted to run off but was soon chased down by the three-and-half year-old Belgian Malinois, who brought him to a halt before he was arrested.
The man was checked out by hospital staff before being taken into custody.
A Coventry Police spokesperson said: “We couldn’t do this job without our amazing handlers and their dogs.”
