COVENTRY City youngster Kai Andrews made his senior international debut for Wales in a friendly defeat against Canada.
Andrews came off the bench for Craig Bellamy’s side in the second-half of the 1-0 defeat at the Swansea.com Stadium.
The 19-year-old entered the fray on 70 minutes but could not help his country find an equaliser after Derek Cornelius put Canada ahead.
He only made his debut for Wales under-21s in June earlier this year.
Andrews enjoyed a productive loan spell at Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership towards the end of last season.
And he made his first Coventry start against Luton Town in the Carabao Cup last month.
He also started in City’s second round defeat against Millwall later in August.
