TAKE That will return to the Coventry Building Society (CBS) Arena to play two concerts next June.
The band will play the stadium on Friday June 5 and Saturday June 6 as part of an 11-date UK revival of their The Circus Live tour.
Originally staged in 2009, The Circus Live broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with over 600,000 tickets sold in under five hours, and over one million fans attending the sell-out shows across the UK and Ireland – including three dates at the CBS arena.
The band are set to perform the original 2009 set list, with ‘a few new surprises’ along the way.
Paul Michael, Managing Director at the CBS Arena, said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Take That back to Coventry, following their famous run of shows at the stadium in 2009.
“They have already given us three unforgettable nights of entertainment in Coventry and fans still talk about those events to this day. This is a chance to create new memories and the atmosphere in June 2026 promises to be just as electric as it was 16 years ago.
“The shows will see the return of live music to the stadium bowl after three years, with major concerts at the heart of our strategy to grow the venue and Coventry as a destination for world-class entertainment.”
The band said: “The Circus tour was one of our favourite experiences as a band and, in the years since, we’ve talked many times about how much we’d love to do it again one day. Well, that time has come!
“We’re so excited to welcome audiences old and new across the UK and Ireland to the spectacle of The Circus Live next summer.”
Support for the Coventry gigs will come in the form of Irish chart-toppers The Script and veteran singer-songwriter Belinda Carlisle.
Tickets go on sale on Friday September 26 at 9.30am from www.ticketmaster.co.uk / www.gigsandtours.com / www.takethat.com.
