COVENTRY City sleeve sponsor XL Motors will donate £1 to charity every time the company’s logo is printed on a first team shirt.

XL Motors are Coventry’s exclusive sleeve sponsors. And supporters are now able to have the logo printed on their retail version of the club’s shirts.

The option, priced at £4, is available online and in-person at the Superstore at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

And the badge option is also available at the club store at West Orchards Shopping Centre from 9am on Wednesday, September 24.

The XL Motors logo will be available on both adult and junior shirts.

For every sleeve badge added to a supporter’s shirt, XL Motors will donate £1 to the Pink Ball charity.

The Pink Ball raises funds for breast cancer medical equipment for local hospitals every year.

Coventry’s chief business officer, Nicola Ibbetson said: “After XL Motors exclusive sponsorship of the first-team shirts, we’re delighted to now extend the opportunity to display their logo to our supporters – while supporting a great cause.

“We enjoy a brilliant relationship with XL Motors, who are a company with our community at their heart and this gesture further emphasises this.”

XL Motors owner, Rob Ally added: “We are really pleased that the fans can now have the logo applied to the sleeves on their replica kits just like the first-team players kits.

“But more importantly we are delighted that by doing so it will be raising money for a great local cause that helps local women.”
