A BOY aged 11 has been injured after he was hit by a car in a hit-and-run collision in Coventry.
It happened at around 3.15pm on Sunday (October 12) in Wigston Road.
The boy was taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the car did not remain at the scene. Police arrested a 19-year-old man in the early hours of Monday (October 13) on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
