TWO SUSPECTED drug dealers have been arrested in Coventry following a police raid.
Coventry Police’s North East neighbourhood’s Priority Crime Team raided a house in Guild Road, Foleshill on Tuesday (October 21), where they seized drugs and arrested two people on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Inside the house, officers found a large amount of suspected Class A and Class B drugs, as well as scales and cash consistent with drug supply.
A force spokesperson said: “The warrant is another excellent piece of disruption work as we continue to target suspected drug dealing and the people and addresses linked to it.
“Operations like this one make a real difference to the community and are made possible through the information we receive from the public telling us about suspicious activity.
“These reports, as well as our own intelligence gathering, help us plan warrants and proactive operations to take drugs off the streets of Coventry.”
Call police on 101 to report anything suspicious.
