COVENTRY City’s Brandon Thomas-Asante has won the PFA Championship Fans’ player of the month award for October.
Thomas-Asante scored six goals and provided one assist during October to claim the award voted for by supporters.
He beat Sky Blues teammate Milan van Ewijk to the award.
The forward also saw off competition from Millwall’s Femi Azeez, Watford’s Imran Louza, Hull City’s Joe Gelhardt and Bristol City’s Rob Atkinson to claim the prize.
Thomas-Asante currently leads the Championship goalscoring charts alongside Derby County’s Carlton Morris.
He scored braces against both Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth and also found the net in wins against Blackburn Rovers and Watford.
The 26-year-old’s other goal contribution in October saw him provide an assist as City cruised to victory at Millwall.
