A MAN was left in a critical condition following an assault outside a pub in Coventry.
Officers were called to Allesley Old Road just before 9.10pm on Saturday (December 6).
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are asking for the public’s help with their investigation.
Det Insp Sherrie Kimberley from Coventry CID said: “We know there were a lot of people inside and outside the pub that may have seen what happened. We want to hear from you, if we haven’t already.
“If you were driving on Allesley Old Road and have dash cam footage from the incident, please contact us.”
