A COVENTRY man has been remanded in custody following an investigation into multiple robberies.
Kevin Byrne, 42, has been charged with three counts of robbery, attempted robbery, criminal damage, and assault of an emergency worker.
It follows an investigation by Coventry’s neighbourhood crime team into reports of robberies outside cashpoints on Trinity Street and Broadgate, an attempted robbery on Trinity Street, criminal damage, and an assault on a police officer between November 21 and 29.
Mr Byrne has been remanded in custody to next appear at Warwick Crown Court on January 5.
