COVENTRY City have confirmed the signing of teenage defender Shay Dunn.

The 18-year-old will initially link up with the club’s under-21 side.

Dunn rose through the ranks at Merstham who play in the Isthmian League South East Division.

He played a pivotal role in the club’s run to the second round of the FA Youth Cup and also played for Merstham’s first team.
