A SERIOUS assault in broad daylight in Coventry has prompted a police appeal for witnesses.
Police were called when a group of men were seen fighting at the junction of Fletchamstead Highway and Kenilworth Road shortly before 1pm on Wednesday (January 28).
A man was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury.
Anyone with information, or who was driving in the area and has dashcam footage showing the incident, is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101 quoting crime number 20/128341/26.
