SKY Blues memorabilia being donated to Coventry schools under a new community initiative.
Coventry City FC has started donating unused matchday programmes to primary schools to inspire young readers, celebrate the club’s history, and strengthen links between the Sky Blues and local families.
Schools will receive bundles of over 50 official Coventry City ‘PUSB’ matchday programmes from recent seasons, for teachers to use in reading corners, classroom activities, creative projects, or as a fun take-home item for pupils.
Mark Hornby, Head of External Relations at Coventry City, said: “We’re pleased to launch this initiative for primary schools in Coventry, making use of surplus programmes from past seasons in a brilliant way.
“These programmes are full of exciting content that can spark inspiration and encourage a love of reading, and of Coventry City. We hope local school pupils enjoy them and feel even more connected to their local club.”
Schools can email [email protected] to receive matchday programme packs.
