COVENTRY City under-21s slipped to a 2-0 home defeat against Huddersfield Town as the young Sky Blues failed to back up a big win at Fleetwood Town.

The Sky Blues conceded two early goals in defeat against Huddersfield at the Alan Higgs Centre.

That came after Coventry romped to a resounding 5-0 victory against Fleetwood at Poolfoot Farm to end the club’s five-game losing run.

The results mean the Sky Blues sit 14th in the Professional Development League table.

Coventry under-21s are next in action against Millwall on Monday, April 13 with kick-off at 1pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
