THE NHS in Coventry and Warwickshire has a new boss.
The Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) has appointed Mary Mumvuri MBE as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Mary has been Chief Nursing Officer at the Trust since 2022 and acting CEO since August 2025.
She has years of leadership experience from across the NHS, as well as a strong clinical background as a registered mental health nurse, which has shaped what she describes as her career-long commitment to patient-centred, compassionate and high-quality care.
Last year, she received an MBE for services to mental health.
She said: “I am truly honoured to be appointed Chief Executive Officer of Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a nurse, I know how vital it is to the delivery of strong clinical outcomes that the voice of our patients, carers and staff helps guide every decision we make.
“CWPT has a reputation for providing compassionate care, and I look forward to building on the legacy of Mel Coombes MBE, working alongside colleagues and partners to continue improving services for the communities we serve.”
Eamonn Kelly, Chair of CWPT, said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Mary as our new Chief Executive Officer.
“Mary is an exceptional leader whose background as a clinician and nurse brings invaluable insight and authenticity to the role. She shares our unwavering commitment to ensuring patient voice, staff engagement and clinical outcomes are at the heart of everything we do.”
