BROTHERS Aristot Benz-Salomon and Jonny Benz-Salomon will reunite at Coventry Rugby in the Champ next season.
Coventry have added Jonny to their squad for the 2026/27 campaign with brother Aristot already on the club’s books.
Aristot has resigned with Coventry next term while Jonny arrives following a spell with Hartpury RFC.
Jonny featured in Hartpury’s Champ Rugby play-off quarter-final defeat against Coventry at the Nick Newbold Stadium.
And 25-year-old tighthead prop Jonny also has Prem Rugby experience with both Bristol Bears and Gloucester.
Jonny said: “Firstly, I’d like to thank God for the opportunity. I’m really excited to be joining Coventry Rugby.
“They have top coaches who will help me develop even more and also a great dressing room.
“Seeing how they did last year, I’m excited to go there and bring impact to the team in my areas of the game and hopefully go one step closer.”
Coventry head coach, Alex Rae added: “It’s great to bring Jonny in. He’s a player we’ve really liked and think under Bodes we can take him to the next level.
“He’s got a great skillset and work ethic for a tighthead, and his set-piece work has been going well this season.
“It’s also great to make it a family affair again.”
Loosehead prop Aristot joined Cov ahead of the 2025/26 season and scored two tries in 27 appearances for Rae’s side in his first campaign.
The twins played together in Harlequins academy and have also both played for Bristol, Gloucester and Hartpury.
Aristot said: “I’m really excited to continue my journey at Cov.
“I’m excited to keep growing as a player and to keep playing in front of our fans.”
Rae added: “Totti has been brilliant since day one. He’s got a really infectious way about him and the energy he brings to the group is awesome.
“His game has gone to another level and I’m pretty confident he will be one of the standout looseheads in the league if he applies himself the same way again.”
